Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Shiloh, IL 62269 (Southwestern Illinois, near St. Louis)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 - 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1960 - $2010
• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Navy
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association preferred)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Ability to float between Memorial Belleville and Memorial East/Shiloh, and within the facility as needed
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
• References preferred at time of submittal
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside nursing care for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac patients on telemetry and administer IV medications, including antiarrhythmics and heparin
• Care for patients transitioning from ICU and those requiring bi-pap respiratory support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
• Float to other units or affiliate hospitals within scope as needed
• Participate in weekend coverage every other weekend
