Telemetry RN Job Details – Michigan Travel Nursing

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1770–$1820
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: December 15, 2025 – End: March 16, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: MedSurg/Cardiac Floor (Nurse Station 2N - Telemetry)
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:30), 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Charting System: Cerner Powerchart
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:5

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Michigan or compact state, or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or MedSurg nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS (pending certifications accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform blood product administration
• Utilize and manage telemetry equipment, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and wound care devices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner Powerchart
• Participate in rapid response/code teams as needed
• Float to other nursing units or affiliate hospitals as required based on census
