Telemetry RN Job Details – Savannah, GA
- Location: Savannah, GA 31405 (Georgia nursing jobs)
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Med/Tele 2N)
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Telemetry Unit
- Unit Size: 23 beds
- Contract Start Date: December 15, 2025
- Contract End Date: March 23, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 14 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,720–$1,840 per week
- Self-Scheduling: Yes (flexible for staffing needs)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Yes, unless approved time off
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
- Charting System: Meditech
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse – Georgia or compact state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Tele or telemetry nursing experience in an acute care hospital
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
- Experience titrating drips (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone)
- Must reside at least 101 miles from the facility (per traveler radius rule)
Registered Nurse – Telemetry Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care on a 23-bed Med/Tele unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; collaborate with Monitor Techs
- Titrate limited drips as needed (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone)
- Utilize respiratory equipment (nasal cannulas, BiPap, high-flow nasal cannulas)
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
- Work collaboratively with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse aides
- Participate in self-scheduling and block scheduling as available
- Float to Neurosurgical PCU on rare occasions (same ratios)
- Complete a one-day orientation on computer skills and unit basics
