• Location: McCall, Idaho (83638) – Idaho healthcare jobs
• Unit: Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit, Floor 2
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• End Date: May 25, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM start), three shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1880-$2020
• Self-scheduling: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Every other to every third weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Occasional
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts on the unit
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Dress Code: Any color professional scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience with titrating IV drips (Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin)
• Basic telemetry reading skills
• Ability to float to ER for tasks as needed (rarely)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to diverse populations, including post-orthopedic surgery, general surgical cases, and medical conditions (COPD, CHF, pneumonia)
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 (without CNA) or 1:3
• Administer and titrate IV drips as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (charge nurses, CNAs, respiratory therapists)
• Monitor and interpret basic telemetry
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Participate in self-scheduling and flexible shift coverage
• Educate and support patients and their families
