X-Ray Technologist Position

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• 10-hour overnight shifts (9 PM to 7 AM)

Required Credentials & Compliance

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required for onboarding

  • Preferred: AHA certification (American Heart Association)
  • Acceptable: Red Cross, CHSF, or Military

Licenses

• Professional license verification required within 30 days of start date
• MA Conditional Licenses not accepted

Health Requirements

• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
• TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Hepatitis B vaccine or immunity preferred but optional
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred but optional

Background & Professional Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Education verification of highest degree achieved
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience (required for submission)
• Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above (required for submission)
• Skills checklist (required for submission)
• Candidate submission coversheet (required for submission)

Additional Requirements

• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required
• Confirmation of assignment form required for all initial assignments and extensions

This is a 13-week overnight X-Ray Technologist position requiring comprehensive credentialing, health screenings, and background checks.
