Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Berlin, Vermont (Zip: 05602) – Vermont nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 16-32 weeks
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: August 3, 2026
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2160–$2210
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for all RN jobs
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS must be completed prior to start)
• Telemetry certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience OR 3 years Telemetry experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required (must have completed 2 travel assignments in 300+ bed facilities OR previous experience at any UVMHN acute care facility)
• EPIC charting experience within the past 2 years (required for clinical support roles)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Reliable transportation is necessary; public transportation is not accessible
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires November–April (Vermont nursing jobs)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver acute care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients, including NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, and bedside telemetry strip interpretation
• Work every other weekend and adjust schedule to meet unit and patient care needs
• Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) if scheduled during assignment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and comply with all facility requirements
