• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights; Rotating schedules; On Call, Call Back, Charge, Holidays, Weekends as needed)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130 - $2190

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Recent telemetry nursing experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification preferred

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Cardiac Stepdown and Observation unit
• Monitor and assess patients requiring cardiac observation and telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to determine patient disposition (admission or safe discharge)
• Manage a fast-paced clinical environment with 20-27 patient turnovers per day
• Provide care for both short-stay and full admission patients
• Participate in rotating shifts, including on-call and holiday coverage as needed
