ER RN Job Details – Massachusetts Healthcare Jobs

• Location: Milford, Massachusetts 01757
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 6, 2026 – End: April 7, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 - $2310
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Unit: 50-room Emergency Department with dedicated behavioral health space

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active, permanent Massachusetts RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC, De-escalation Training (MOAB/CPI/AVADE)
• Experience with Meditech EMR charting system
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must pass a Tele exam during orientation (score of 80%+ required)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage, assess, and intervene for trauma, stroke, STEMI, behavioral health, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Manage advanced airway, ventilator support, and procedural sedation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Accurately document patient care in Meditech EMR
• Participate in orientation and required training modules
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
