Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1770 - $1820
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (January 5, 2026 – April 6, 2026)
• Location: Maryville, TN 37804 – East Tennessee healthcare jobs
• Unit: Neuroscience Med/Surg 4 North – Adult & Geriatric Patients
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), 3 shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license (required for Tennessee nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience (travel RN experience required)
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• No first-time travel nurses
• Willingness to float to other units based on facility needs and skill set

RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as stroke/TIA, seizure, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, dialysis, acute kidney failure, post heart cath, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, CHF, and sepsis
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 during night shifts
• Utilize Omnicell medication system and EPIC charting for clinical documentation
• Perform special procedures including peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Float to other units as needed, performing tasks within demonstrated nursing competencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, experience, and clinical outcomes
• Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start (up to 16 hours reimbursed)
