Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Bloomington, Indiana 47408 (Indiana nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/6/2026 – End: 4/7/2026)
- Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital (210 staffed beds, 13 OR suites)
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 – 15:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,320 - $2,380

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (1.5 years may be considered)
- Active Indiana RN license required (must be in hand before start date)
- BCLS certification required
- Experience in Neuro and Ortho surgical cases required; General, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Podiatry, and Robotics experience preferred
- Preferred: Experience in Vascular, Thoracic, Plastics, ENT, Trauma Level I/II, and community hospital settings
- Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule (weeknights and weekends)
- Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during contract
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program required
- 2 supervisor references required
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
OR RN Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical specialties (excluding transplant)
- Operate advanced surgical equipment, including Da Vinci Xi robotic systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc.)
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage with the surgical team
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic charting system
- Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
- Support adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
