Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Bloomington, Indiana 47408 (Indiana nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/6/2026 – End: 4/7/2026)
• Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital (210 staffed beds, 13 OR suites)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 – 15:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,320 - $2,380
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN, OR RN)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (1.5 years may be considered)
• Active Indiana RN license required (must be in hand before start date)
• BCLS certification required
• Experience in Neuro and Ortho surgical cases required; General, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Podiatry, and Robotics experience preferred
• Preferred: Experience in Vascular, Thoracic, Plastics, ENT, Trauma Level I/II, and community hospital settings
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule (weeknights and weekends)
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during contract
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program required
• 2 supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

OR RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical specialties (excluding transplant)
• Operate advanced surgical equipment, including Da Vinci Xi robotic systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage with the surgical team
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic charting system
• Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
• Support adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
