Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details

• Location: Summit, New Jersey 07901 (New Jersey nursing jobs)
• Unit: Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown (4AB)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent Intermediate Care, Cardiac Stepdown, or Telemetry RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Strong communication and computer skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide evidence-based clinical support

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on safety and quality
• Document patient care and progress accurately using electronic medical records
