  • Start Date: January 5, 2026
  • End Date: April 6, 2026
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), various days
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,180 - $2,240
  • On-Call: 24 hours per 6-week schedule
  • Weekend Requirement: Minimum 6 weekend shifts per schedule
  • Floating: Required between Memorial North and Memorial Central Birth Centers
  • Patient Ratios: 1:2
  • Average Daily Census: 6-10 deliveries
  • Scrub Color: Navy
  • Charting System: Epic EMR

Qualifications – Labor & Delivery RN

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a high-volume or high-risk hospital setting
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state (Colorado RN jobs)
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or C-EFM, FHM
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Experience with SVE's, FSE's, OR circulator duties, and magnesium administration
  • Ability to float between Memorial North and Memorial Central Birth Centers
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
  • First-time travel nurses not accepted

Responsibilities – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a high-risk, high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
  • Perform and assist with sterile vaginal exams (SVE), fetal scalp electrode (FSE) placement, and OR circulator duties
  • Administer medications, including magnesium sulfate therapy, and manage IV infusions
  • Monitor and interpret fetal heart tracings (EFM, FHM)
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and OB emergencies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, and rapid response teams
  • Float between Memorial North and Memorial Central Birth Centers as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
  • Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
