Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Huntsville, Alabama 35801
• Assignment Type: Travel, On-Site Radiology Technologist Job
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Duration: 8-week contract
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1240 – $1330

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (2–3 years preferred)
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
• Current BLS certification required
• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent U.S. Military training
• Experience with spine and orthopedic imaging preferred
• Proficiency with OEC C-ARMS equipment preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travel healthcare requirement)

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Conduct radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable X-rays, C-arm procedures, and operating room imaging
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care during all imaging procedures
• Maintain detailed imaging records and follow departmental protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness
