ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Seymour, Indiana (47274) – Indiana nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/30/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 7 beds
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week, 34.5 guaranteed hours/week)
• Schedule: Includes weekends and at least one major holiday (Christmas or New Year's)
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 2:1 or 1:1
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1820 - $1950
• Dress Code: Professional nurse attire

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state – Indiana RN jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Ability and willingness to float to MedSurg units as needed
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and analyze clinical data in the ICU
• Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
• Evaluate and document patient care outcomes and interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Operate advanced medical equipment: Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech, Omnicell, Philips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, NICOM
• Float to other hospital departments, including MedSurg, as needed
• Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies
