• Unit: 4E*NAH (Telemetry Unit)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 4, 2026
• End Date: April 4, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night Shift (6:45pm – 7:15am), every other weekend required
• Shift Length: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1930 - $1980

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient acute care RN experience
• Recent Telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments in the telemetry unit
• Develop, prioritize, and implement individualized nursing care plans; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions and treatments
• Educate patients and families throughout hospitalization and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed healthcare staff; serve as mentor and preceptor to new nurses
• Promote teamwork, participate in quality and safety improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory healthcare standards
• Support a patient- and family-centered approach, focusing on comfort, education, and satisfaction
