Operating Room Technician Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13-week travel assignment
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2030 - $2190
• Shift: 12-hour evening shifts (PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Call Requirement: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (weeknights), 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (weekends)

Operating Room Technician Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician, Surgical Technologist, or Surgical Assistant
• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) or Surgical First Assist certification required
• Proven experience in General Surgery and Operating Room (OR) settings
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures in the Operating Room
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical environments
• Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are available and functioning properly
• Support patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols
