Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details – Oswego, NY

• Location: Oswego, NY 13126 – Upstate New York healthcare job in a beautiful lakeside city
• Assignment Length: 8-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: February 22, 2026
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000–$2050

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Cardiology or cardiac stepdown experience preferred
• Proficiency in PC/CRT data entry preferred

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiac nursing care to patients in a cardiology office setting
• Deliver care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Collaborate with physicians, practice managers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain professional nursing standards and comply with healthcare policies and procedures
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Assist with patient assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and coordinate individualized care plans
• Support clinical workflow and foster a positive, team-oriented healthcare environment
