Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Cambridge, MA (02138) – Boston metro area
• Healthcare Setting: Diagnostic Radiology Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist Contract
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 28, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour evening shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 12pm–12am)
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed, excluding on-call time)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,030–$2,190
• Floating: May be required to float to Addison Gilbert Hospital as needed

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
• Proven ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images for OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Flexibility to meet departmental staffing needs, including holidays and on-call rotation
• Candidates must not have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent staff within the past 6 months

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently in a clinical healthcare setting
• Ensure patient care and safety throughout all imaging procedures
• Work with a diverse patient population including OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Adapt to departmental needs, including floating to other healthcare sites as required
• Participate in holiday and on-call rotations as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
