Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Location: Cambridge, MA (02138) – Boston metro area
- Healthcare Setting: Diagnostic Radiology Unit
- Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist Contract
- Start Date: December 29, 2025
- End Date: March 28, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour evening shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 12pm–12am)
- Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed, excluding on-call time)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,030–$2,190
- Floating: May be required to float to Addison Gilbert Hospital as needed
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
- Proven ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images for OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Flexibility to meet departmental staffing needs, including holidays and on-call rotation
- Candidates must not have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent staff within the past 6 months
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently in a clinical healthcare setting
- Ensure patient care and safety throughout all imaging procedures
- Work with a diverse patient population including OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases
- Adapt to departmental needs, including floating to other healthcare sites as required
- Participate in holiday and on-call rotations as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
