Ultrasound Tech Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts

Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a hospital or clinical setting
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or related field
• ARDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment

Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for general imaging as ordered by physicians and healthcare providers
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging results
• Document ultrasound procedures and maintain detailed patient records while ensuring confidentiality
• Deliver compassionate patient care and provide clear communication throughout the imaging process
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards at all times
