Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
- Facility Setting: Diagnostic Radiology Department
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract Radiology Technologist
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 4, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Sunday through Thursday (start times: 7:00am, 7:30am, or 8:00am)
- Hours: 40 hours per week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
- On-Site Position
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
- Vocational or Technical training in Medical Radiography
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (RadTech-Radiography)
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced technical computer skills with radiology information systems
- Proven experience with OR, ER, and bedside imaging procedures
- Strong knowledge of c-arm operation and pain injection procedures
- Must not reside within 50 miles of Boston, MA (no local travelers)
- Must not have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last 6 months
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in operating room (OR), emergency room (ER), and bedside settings
- Assist pain management physicians with fluoroscopic imaging of the spine and joints
- Set up and break down kits and medications for pain injection procedures
- Operate and maintain c-arm imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all radiology procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and radiology documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
