Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Wilkes Barre, PA 18764 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Orthopedic Clinic
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist, On-Site
• No weekends or holidays required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1580 - $1700

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
• At least 1 year of recent travel healthcare experience as a Rad Tech preferred
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Active Pennsylvania state license as a general radiographer
• Orthopedic imaging experience highly preferred

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including basic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable X-rays, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Deliver timely and accurate diagnostic imaging for both inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Radiologist and clinic protocols
• Support a busy 6-provider orthopedic clinic, managing a patient load of approximately 1 patient every 10 minutes
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in the Athena EMR system
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a patient-focused approach in all clinical interactions
