ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Newnan, Georgia (30265) – Georgia nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 12-week travel contract
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 6, 2026
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,570 - $1,610
• Setting: ICU (Unit 63210, ICU 1)
• Type: Travel nursing contract
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to IMC and Med Surg units as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact State (required for Georgia healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (no first-time travelers)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Proficient in managing dysrhythmias, arterial lines, central lines, and titrating cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Skilled in ventilator care, BiPAP/CPAP management, suctioning (ETT, NT), and isolation precautions/PPE
• Willingness to float to IMC and Med Surg units
• Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment
• Manage advanced equipment including ventilators, arterial and central lines
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips according to protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to IMC and Med Surg units within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays as required by assignment
