Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Start Date: February 2, 2026
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts; days, evenings, nights; every other weekend and holidays required)
• Setting: Medical-Surgical Float Pool (supporting 15 units in a 600-bed teaching hospital)
• Orientation: Weekly (every Monday, except holidays)
• Parking: Available (public transportation nearby; parking fees may apply)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310-$2470
• Contract Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly guaranteed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (required at time of application)
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
• Level I trauma experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate web-based healthcare applications

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Float between 15 medical-surgical units, including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, oncology, transplant, and vascular specialties
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment
• Perform unit-specific procedures such as 12-lead EKGs, lasix gtt, blood transfusions, and continuous telemetry monitoring
• Administer nebulizer treatments and collaborate with respiratory therapists for ventilator management
• Adapt to varying patient ratios (4:1 days, 6:1 nights) and flexible assignments provided up to 2 hours before shift
• Work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, every other weekend, and holidays as needed
• Accurately document patient care and progress using Epic EMR
