- Unit: Women's Services – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), weekends as needed
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,310 - $2,470
- Floating: May float to Meridian, Boise, or other Treasure Valley healthcare sites within primary skill set (L&D, Mother Baby, or as a sitter)
Qualifications – Labor & Delivery RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (3 years preferred)
- Mother Baby nursing experience preferred (at least 1 year preferred)
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- Experience attending deliveries, providing newborn care, triage, circulating for C-sections, and postpartum couplet care
- Proficient with magnesium and titratable drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin)
- Ability to float to other healthcare sites as needed
- Compliance with hospital dress code (hospital-issued scrubs, no acrylic/gel nails)
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients in a 14-bed LDRP unit
- Circulate and recover patients in 2 dedicated OR suites for C-sections
- Staff triage beds and manage a variety of obstetric diagnoses (32 weeks gestation and above, hypertension, TOLACs, gestational diabetes, etc.)
- Follow AWHONN staffing standards for patient ratios
- Administer and titrate medications and drips according to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including OB hospitalists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, anesthesia, and support staff
- Complete orientation, compliance, and EPIC training prior to start date
- Float to other nursing units or healthcare sites within the health system as needed
