Travel OR Tech Job Details

• Location: Manchester, NH 03102 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Main Hospital Operating Room (10 ORs, 330-bed hospital)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel surgical technologist contract
• On-Call: Assigned stay late call during the week, occasional Fri/Sat overnights, holidays as needed
• Scrubs: Provided by facility

Operating Room Tech Requirements

• Active New Hampshire Surgical Technologist license (required for NH OR Tech jobs)
• Certification as a Scrub Tech (CST preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an operating room setting
• Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, endovascular, urology, and neuro cases
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Preferred: Neuro experience for on-call coverage

Key Responsibilities for OR Techs

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team in a variety of procedures, including ortho trauma, total joints, robotics (DaVinci XI), GYN, urology, vascular/endovascular, spine, neuro, bariatrics, and general surgery
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
• Operate and maintain specialized surgical equipment (DaVinci Robot, neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump)
• Ensure accurate instrument counts and proper handling of surgical supplies
• Support patient safety and deliver high-quality clinical care throughout the surgical process
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned
