Emergency Room RN Job Details
- Location: Corvallis, Oregon (97330) – Oregon nursing jobs
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED), with support to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and ED Boarders as needed
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:30), including occasional weekends
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel RN contract (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)
- Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2130 - $2190
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required at submission)
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- ACLS certification (required for Interventional Care)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required for moderate complexity testing)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Emergency Department (ED), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
- Practice within the scope of the Oregon State Board of Nursing and hospital policies
- Support staffing needs in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and for ED Boarders as required
- Perform accurate data entry for billing and maintain digital case records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation
