• Location: Atlanta, GA 30303 (Georgia healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Emergency Department
• Assignment Type: Travel Social Worker Contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 6:00pm to 6:30am (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1830
• On-Site Social Work Position

Social Worker Qualifications

• Active Georgia LMSW or LCSW license required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Social Worker in an Emergency Department or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system
• BLS certification preferred
• Pediatric social work experience preferred

Social Worker Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, and emotional support to pediatric patients and families in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Coordinate discharge planning and connect families with community resources
• Accurately document all interventions and communications in Epic EMR
• Advocate for pediatric patient needs and ensure access to essential healthcare and social services
