Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Warrensville Heights, Ohio (44122) – Greater Cleveland area
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit (9 Surgical)
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 01/09/2026 – End: 04/10/2026)
• Nursing Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 – $1960

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during contract
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment (2 attempts maximum)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical competency assessments
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
