• Unit Beds: 6 (5 general, 1 urology)
• Tech to Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Scrub Color: Procedural
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR nurse jobs)
• Proficient in General, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Vascular, Neuro, Spinal, Dental, Complex, Pediatrics, and Adult surgeries
• Current Illinois RN license or compact state license
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Ability to participate in on-call and weekend rotations
• First-time travel nurses considered

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver preparatory, scrubbing, and patient care services in the operating room
• Assist with surgical procedures across all specialties
• Monitor patients using bedside telemetry as needed
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized operating room environment
• Provide compassionate care to pediatric and adult patients
