• Facility Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Newborn Nursery & Level 2 NICU
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100 - $2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (essential for Arizona nursing jobs)
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Newborn Nursery or Level 2 NICU setting
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems (Allscripts - Sunrise preferred)

Nursery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care for newborns in a Level 2 NICU and Nursery environment
• Monitor, assess, and document care for newborns, including high acuity patients (all high acuity cases airlifted to Phoenix)
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments and care using Allscripts - Sunrise charting system
• Educate and support families on newborn care and health
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
