Healthcare Setting: Medical Surgical Ortho, Med-Surg Adult Unit

End Date: June 22, 2026
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Nursing Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36 (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Schedule: Every other weekend required; no call; no block scheduling
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,780 - $1,910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine or compact state
Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
Flu vaccine mandated by the State of Maine
Minimum 1 year of recent medical surgical nursing experience required
Telemetry nursing experience preferred

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to adults in a Med/Surg Ortho unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and clinical progress
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
