Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Location: Scottsbluff, NE 69361 (Nebraska nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Adult Medical-Surgical Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients in the medical-surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and deliver patient education
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and families
• Uphold hospital policies, procedures, and demonstrate professionalism at all times
