ICU RN Travel Job Details

• Location: Utica, NY 13502 (Central New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026 – End: 4/5/2026)
• Setting: Critical Care Float Pool (42-bed unit)
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990–$2130
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• EMR: Epic

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York RN license (required for New York nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (required for ICU RN jobs)
• Experience with specialty equipment: IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM preferred
• Ability to float to various units (excluding Psych and ED, unless managing holds)
• Comfortable with Med-Surg assignments (up to 6-7 patients)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, CTICU, Trauma, and Med-Surg units
• Float between multiple critical care units as needed
• Manage diverse patient diagnoses: stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, post-surgical, trauma, neuro interventions
• Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and changing patient needs
