Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Keene, NH 03431 – Explore New Hampshire healthcare jobs in a charming city with lively downtown and outdoor recreation.

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain within 90 days of hire; required within one year)
• New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (current or must obtain within one year of graduation for new graduates)
• CPR certification (must be acquired within three months of hire and maintained bi-annually)
• Competency in at least two specialty areas: Diagnostic Radiology, Computed Tomography (CT), Bone Densitometry, or Interventional Radiology

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Deliver radiologic care for diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
• Perform and maintain competency in procedures in at least two specialty areas: Diagnostic Radiology, CT, Bone Densitometry, or Interventional Radiology
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety protocols
