Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (Maryland RN jobs)
Minimum 2 years of recent stroke care experience
At least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

RN Responsibilities in Med/Surg Telemetry

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor and assess patients with stroke and acute medical conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Accurately document patient care and nursing interventions
Educate patients and families on health management, recovery, and preventive care
