• Job Title: Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Falmouth, MA (Cape Cod) – Massachusetts nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026, End: 4/4/2026)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (Guaranteed)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating day shifts (7a-7p), every other weekend, rotating holidays
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (travel RN experience preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• IV therapy experience and ability to perform phlebotomy independently
• Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry environment
• Educate patients and families, providing compassionate and effective clinical support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to maintain high standards of patient care
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, chest drainage devices, and telemetry monitoring
• Document patient care accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Respond effectively to emergency and urgent clinical situations
• Care for post-operative and orthopedic patients, including those with epidural analgesia
• Identify and report signs of neglect or abuse in accordance with Massachusetts healthcare regulations
• Utilize strong time management skills and adhere to best nursing practices
• Address the age-specific needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned
