Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Jackson, Michigan (49201) – Michigan healthcare jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist

• End Date: March 28, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:00am – 6:30pm), every other weekend required, block scheduling available
• On-Site Healthcare Position
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030 - $2190

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; CT Technologist experience preferred
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible
• BLS certification required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Structural heart and procedural experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to work every other weekend; flexible scheduling

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic radiology procedures and general diagnostic radiology exams
• Prepare patients for CT imaging and explain examination procedures
• Review clinical data and obtain additional patient history as needed
• Set up and maintain procedure rooms, CT equipment, and supplies
• Operate CT scanners and administer intravenous contrast media, monitoring for adverse reactions
• Assist radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures, including biopsies
• Ensure radiation safety and apply ALARA principles
• Manage PACS and RIS systems for accurate image delivery and documentation
• Demonstrate excellence in teamwork, communication, and patient care
