Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Midland, TX 79701 (West Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility: The Breast Center
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 01/12/2026 – End: 04/13/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts/week (9:00am – 6:00pm, 1-hour lunch)
• Coverage: Occasional late shift (until 7pm, 1-2x/month); possible Saturday coverage (8am–2pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2480
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Daily Census: ~40 patients
• No On-Call Required
• Orientation: 16 hours

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
• Active Texas Radiologic Technologist license (pending accepted, must be active before start)
• Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (M), BLS
• Experience with Cerner EMR charting system preferred
• Proficient in 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic & Screening Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Radiation Safety, Outpatient procedures, and Stereotactic Biopsy
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Must pass on-site drug screening

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures, including 3D and digital mammograms
• Assist with fine needle aspirations, stereotactic biopsies, and needle localizations
• Ensure radiation safety and digital quality assurance protocols are followed
• Deliver compassionate patient care and education to adult and geriatric populations
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with the clinical support team to provide excellent healthcare services
• Support outpatient workflow and adapt to extended hours or Saturday coverage as needed
