Radiology Technologist Job Details

• End Date: April 6, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1350 - $1460 per week
• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Pediatrics
• Daily Census: 3-5 patients

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech); pediatric experience highly preferred
• Active BLS certification (required)
• CCI CRAT or CCI CCT certification (required)
• Experience with Holter Monitor scanning and cardiac event monitoring (highly preferred)
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system (preferred)
• Ability to instruct patients on Holter Monitor activities and diary maintenance
• Proficient in skin preparation and lead placement for cardiac monitoring
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Apply and scan Holter Monitors and cardiac event monitor patches for pediatric patients
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG readings
• Recognize and interpret cardiac rhythms (Sinus Bradycardia, Ventricular Tachycardia, Atrial Flutter, Pacemakers, AV Heart Blocks)
• Prepare diagnostic equipment and verify accurate patient identification
• Educate patients and families on monitoring activities and diary requirements
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Adhere to isolation precautions and ensure proper clinical documentation
