Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Location: Grand Blanc, MI 48439 (Greater Flint area)
- Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 26, 2026 – End: April 25, 2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Level II Trauma Center
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030 - $2190
- Interview Process: MS Teams virtual interview
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist; CT procedure experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current ARRT (CT) certification or registry-eligible
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Ability to work every other weekend and excel in a fast-paced trauma center environment
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and general diagnostic radiology exams in a hospital setting
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and prepare them for exams
- Review clinical data, obtain patient history, and ensure accurate exam performance
- Operate CT equipment, administer intravenous contrast media, and monitor for patient reactions
- Assist radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures, including biopsies
- Maintain procedure rooms, manage supplies, and ensure equipment readiness
- Practice radiation safety and ALARA principles for patient and staff protection
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation in PACS and RIS systems
- Demonstrate excellence in teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care
