Qualifications for Mammography/Radiologic Technologist

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray technologist experience, including 1 year of recent experience
• At least 2 years of current Mammography technologist experience
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Valid Massachusetts state radiology license
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Reliable transportation (must have own vehicle)
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Responsibilities in Mammography and Radiology

• Perform a wide range of mammography and radiologic procedures independently
• Utilize advanced imaging skills to support accurate clinical diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety and comfort according to hospital and departmental policies
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation per OSHA and hospital standards
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Participate in mandatory annual education and maintain required competencies
• Provide supervision or instruction to imaging department staff as assigned
