Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Louisville, Kentucky 40202
• Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
• Department: Radiology
• Shift: Monday – Thursday, 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed (scheduled for 40 hours per week; 36 hours are guaranteed, with the potential to work up to 40 hours based on department needs)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,810 - $1,940 per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Dress Code: Ceil Blue Scrubs
• Call Requirements: None

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech
• Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Valid Kentucky State License for Radiology Technologists
• American Heart Association (AHA) certification
• Clinical experience in Radiology, ER, OR, and Mobile imaging required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Strong initiative and eagerness to learn in a healthcare environment

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for diverse patient populations, including walk-ins and Level 1 trauma cases
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment: Shimadzu, Konika, Carestream, Fuji, Siemens
• Utilize EMR systems such as Cerner and McKesson for accurate patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence in all patient interactions
