Emergency Department RN Job Details

• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County, New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shifts: Flex Shift (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, based on department needs)
• Rotation: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Pay Rate: $83.70/hr

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Active New Jersey RN License (required for all New Jersey nursing jobs)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Flu immunization required (medical exemption accepted with documentation)
• Professional appearance; any color scrubs are acceptable if clean and presentable

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding rapidly to emergent situations
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document all patient care activities and nursing interventions
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
