LPN Qualifications

• Active New York LPN license
• At least 1 year of recent hospital experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Capable of managing own patient assignment with RN support
• Available to work every other weekend

LPN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient care and interventions in Epic
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families
• Float to other units as required by facility needs
