Description

Travel RN Opportunity - Emergency Room

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Job Description

Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
May be required to float between Lander and Riverton campuses depending on census.

Required Certifications

ACLS (American Heart Association)
BLS (American Heart Association)
PALS (American Heart Association)
NRP (American Heart Association)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Licensure

Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license required.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Room experience.
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Note: Candidates must meet all certification and licensure requirements and be prepared to float between campuses as needed.
