• Location: Saint Johnsbury, VT 05819 – Northeast Kingdom, Vermont
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 4-bed open ICU
• Start Date: January 14, 2026
• End Date: April 15, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shifts: 3 shifts/week, 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• All required healthcare credentials must be uploaded three business days prior to start date

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a critical care setting, following AACN Standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry; respond to changes in patient condition promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Deliver care to diverse populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional nursing standards
