Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Preferred experience in Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, or Pediatric OR
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
OR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, prioritizing patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to provide high-quality clinical support
- Maintain a sterile surgical environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during surgery
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and care planning
