Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
Start Date: January 5, 2026
End Date: April 6, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (19:00 - 07:00)
Weekly Hours: 36
Weekend Coverage: Required (2 shifts per pay period, flexible)
Orientation: 24 hours onsite
100-mile radius rule: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Idaho
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Epic EMR charting experience preferred
Ability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients
Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, EMR systems)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process and hospital protocols
Respond to emergencies and life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions
Prioritize, delegate, and communicate patient care effectively
Accurately document all aspects of patient care
Maintain clinical competencies and pursue ongoing professional development
Float to other hospital units as needed based on competencies
Manage a patient ratio of 5-7 per shift
Perform specialized nursing skills: blood product administration, central line blood draws, chest tube management, feeding tube and tracheostomy care, wound care, and more
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
