Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304
Healthcare Setting: Short-term acute care hospital, Level III Trauma Center
Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Start Date: January 12, 2026
End Date: April 13, 2026
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Hours per Week: 36
Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Charting System: Epic EMR
Scrub Color: Royal blue and white

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
Experience with Epic charting system
Ability to float within scope to similar units as needed
Must be able to work every other weekend
Not accepting local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Must pass Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance
First-time travel nurses welcome to apply

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations
Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards
