Description

OR Nurse - Bridgeport, Connecticut

Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in OR nursing (specialty)
Level 1 trauma center experience
Experience with cases including:
- OR Trauma
- Orthopedics (specializing in total knee replacements, total hips anterior and posterior approach)
- Spine
- Neuro (including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy)
Required experience in:
- General Surgery
- Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho)
- Urology
- ENT
- Neuro
- Plastics (including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation)
- Gynecology (GYN)
Preferred:
- Previous travel experience
- Experience with EPIC, Surgicount, and TECSYS systems

Note: Prior travel experience is preferred but not explicitly required.

Shift Details

40 hours per week
Primary shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Approximately 30% of shifts from 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM based on department needs
Occasional weekend work

Call Schedule

6 weekday calls and 6 weekend calls every 6 weeks
